General Contracting
Our in-house team is skilled in drywall, taping, framing, installation of doors, sidelites, ceiling systems and general carpentry work. We work with our network of trades to schedule and complete all scopes of work as seamlessly as possible.
Construction Cost Budgeting
Many of our clients own commercial office towers. They are often tasked with producing budgets for new office space buildouts (expansions, refreshes, contractions). We help forecast time and expense budgets for the landlord, leasing agents and tenants.
Project Management
Our open book approach has led to our clients having us run construction tendering work on their behalf. With over 45 years of experience, we have built relationships with skilled, responsible trades throughout the construction industry. This provides competitive pricing options for trusted trades. Regardless of a project's size, Project Management is paramount to the success of a project. Each of our projects incorporates a Project Manager, who works closely with the Project Site Lead, Our Clients and Trades. This constant communication keeps all relevant people up-to-speed with timelines which leads to continued success.
ABOUT
We’ve been helping our clients with their construction needs for close to 50 years. Clausen Contracting Limited was founded by Bev and Arne Clausen in 1972. Their son, Dan Shaw, joined the company in 1986 and successfully managed the company's operations until 2021. We focus on customer service, strong communication and project management. Our solid reputation and low staff attrition have earned us the opportunity to work with many of the same clients for over 30 years.
Jeff Pascoe joined the team in 2018 and has focused on increasing our client base through his strength in relationship building, leadership and solutions-based mindset. In spite of pandemic restrictions, we have been able to grow our team over the last year, increasing our team by more than 20%.
Our most recent office hires are Jon Bolton, Kristi Pascoe, and Ryan Munro. Jon’s extensive experience in sales, marketing and business development will be a huge benefit in helping us improve our service and grow our capabilities. Jon will be working closely with Jeff and Ryan on managing our current projects and expanding our business opportunities.
After working closely with Clausen on numerous projects over the last few years, Kristi has officially joined the team as a Design Consultant. Kristi works closely with many of our existing clients and trade partners and will be driving our business from a design perspective.
Ryan has joined our team after spending 10+ years in the construction industry in varying roles, including managing large scale construction projects for some of North America's largest waste management organizations. Ryan's main focus will be project management and improvement and streamlining of our processes.
